    The Director of Accounting position is responsible for managing and overseeing the month end close process, business process improvement, policy and internal control compliance, financial reporting, and business development. The candidate is an entrepreneurial people person who enjoys working within a team and directly with clients.

    The Director of Accounting position is responsible for managing and overseeing the month end close process, business process improvement, policy and internal control compliance, financial reporting, and business development.     The primary job responsibilities include:

    • Review month-end financial and managerial reports to ensure accurate, complete, and timely financial reports.
    • Implement best practices in Financial statement presentation.
    • Manage Clients state and federal tax payments, as well as estimated tax payments.
    • Managing and training staff for best practices in GAAP accounting.
    • Implement best practices and procedures for internal controls.
    • Accounting Software implementation and integration.
    • Perform Additional Duties as Directed by Management

    Qualifications:

    • Strong knowledge of accounting department workflow processes.

  • Accountant

    The Accountant position is responsible for managing and processing our clients day-to-day accounting requirements and assisting in the preparation of financial statements.  The candidate is an entrepreneurial people person who enjoys working within a team and directly with clients.

    $50,000 – $60,000 relative to prior experience.

  • Payroll Accountant

    We are seeking an experienced and reliable Payroll Accountant to join our growing team! The Payroll Accountant will be responsible for processing weekly, bi-weekly, and semi-monthly payroll for a vast array of clients, as well as the coordination efforts between Payroll and Human Resources to ensure proper flow and maintenance of employee data related to payroll. Applicants must have a solid working knowledge of payroll processes and related compliance procedures.

    The primary job responsibilities include:

    • Processing weekly, bi-weekly, and semi-monthly payroll for clients, including the collection and entering of data in compliance with applicable federal, state and local requirements, as well as the issuance of checks and/or electronic transfer to bank accounts.
    • Manage payroll changes to include special payroll payments, allowances, and deductions to include, garnishments, benefits, etc.
    • Manage and monitor proper state registrations for payroll taxes.
    • Manage administration of new hires and terminations related to payroll, ensuring prompt and accurate onboarding with appropriate exemptions and tax withholdings as well as deductions for applicable benefits plans; ensuring timely and compliant distributions at termination
    • Maintain employee records in the financial system for changes, such as salary changes, bonus payments, paid and unpaid leaves, deductions, and allowance changes in an accurate and timely manner, updating General Ledger as required.
    • Reconcile payroll reports to plan provided statements to ensure accurate deductions have been withheld, balancing payroll accounts and resolving payroll discrepancies.
    • Prepare management reports of earnings, nontaxable wages, taxes, deductions, PTO, etc.
    • Process payroll-related contributions for retirement plans, flexible spending accounts, and health savings accounts.
    • Work closely with Human Resources regarding inquiries, issues, and procedures affecting payroll and HR.

    Qualifications:

    • Excellent organizational, time-management and communication skills.
    • Is excited to learn and good at working through problems.
    • Learns quickly and can independently apply what they learn through hands-on experience.
    • Ability to complete responsibilities and review for accuracy before processing deadline times.
    • Experience using ADP, Paychex, and other payroll software programs, preferred but not required.
    • Relevant experience working in accounting outsourcing preferred, but not required.
